God is so much bigger than we could ever ask or imagine. He knew. All of those times I would cry on my knees in my closet because we had, yet again, another negative pregnancy test. He knew. He knows our story. He wrote it. He knew our family was going to be built a little differently. I am so thankful for this! He knew that Noah and Dillon were meant to be ours. It was a little bit of a process and heartache, but He knew it was the best for Leigh and I. We call Levi our miracle baby, but really, he was always in the plan to be ours. I am so thankful (as hard as it was) to have had the opportunity to experience this. To finally feel what a positive pregnancy test felt like. To see his heart beating on an ultra sound. To feel him move inside me. How can anyone experience this and not believe in a mighty God. It’s incredible.
On January 8th, we met our sweet baby boy. Our 3rd but 1st, sweet boy! 🙂 I will forever be thankful for one of my best friends as she rushed quite quickly in a snow storm in the middle of the night to the hospital to capture what was hands down one of the most perfect, painful, incredible nights of my life! Thank you, Sarah, for ALL of these photos. We laugh because Levi had 3 official photo shoots before he was a week old! Sarah, you are the best! I will treasure these photos for a lifetime!
A big part of our story of how our family was built (how Dillon came)…
